Through our books and publications, we preserve the sea’s cultural heritage and tell its stories
In 2024, we published Juha Flinkman and Jouni Polko’s book The Fog of War – the First World War in the Gulf of Finland. This book is based on in-depth archival research and the Badewanne organisation’s dives. An English-language version was also published with support from the Weisell Foundation.
The Finnish edition had a print run of 1,250 copies and the English edition 300 copies.
We also printed a second edition (500 copies) of Alpo Tuurnala’s book Kansakuntamme laivasto (Our Nation’s Navy).
