Deep dive -webinar
In collaboration with the Fondation de la Mer in France and the MEDSEA Foundation in Italy, we organised an international webinar on the state of the world’s seas and oceans on UN World Oceans Day in June. The Deep Dive webinar reached a couple of hundred listeners.
Baltic Sea theatre course
We organised our first Baltic Sea-themed theatre course on the island of Jurmo. This course sought to strengthen participants’ knowledge and awareness of the history, nature and cultural heritage of both the Baltic Sea and human nature through the medium of theatre. The course was led by Juha Hurme, who created the concept. Twelve people attended the course.
Baltic Sea talks
During the year, we organised one The Baltic Sea Talks event on the theme of the Baltic Sea’s difficult legacy. This event reached around 90 people.
