Environmental education
We created our own environmental education programme, which aims to strengthen the relationship that people have with the sea and inspire environmental action for active marine citizenship.
Environmental education
We launched our first environmental education programme.
In 2025
- We organised Baltic Sea school visits and 30 Plastic-Free Sea events in collaboration with the Finnish Nature League. Our school partnerships and events reached more than 6,000 children and young people in over 40 municipalities.
- At the Satahanka Sea Scout Camp, we tested our Baltic Sea Dialogue, which is based on the Timeout discussion method.
- We organised Timeout dialogue training, which enables participants to facilitate dialogues at events hosted by both the Foundation and the Finnish Nature League
Our partners were:
the Finnish Nature League, Timeout Foundation, and Guides and Scouts of Finland.
