Clean maritime traffic

Maritime transport causes emissions of both eutrophicating nutrients and harmful substances into the Baltic Sea. Our goal is to identify the most harmful impacts of maritime transport on the marine environment and address them in collaboration with industry operators by adopting new water protection measures. Our projects aim to reduce the amount of cargo residue entering the sea from ports and ships.
