We took part in numerous environmental and cultural events with nature and sea themes as organisers, speakers, panellists or partners, both in Finland and abroad.
Events and co-productions
We convey the importance of biodiversity in the Baltic Sea through art.
In 2025
- We collaborated with the Helsinki Biennial, an international contemporary art event. Two Norwegian artists, Thale Blix Fastvold and Tanja Thorjussen, created a piece that depicts the lifecycle of common eelgrass, which is one of the Baltic Sea’s key species. Parts of the installation were displayed at Helsinki Art Museum (HAM), while others were shown on Vallisaari, the Biennial’s main venue. The Biennial attracted about 500,000 visitors.
- We organised two events in our series “The Baltic Sea Talks”, one in Rovaniemi and the other in Helsinki.
- We were involved in the Helsinki Book Fair, where we had a booth, held a photo exhibition and organised events on the stage.
