Paddling for a thriving Baltic Sea. This July, Valtteri Heinilä will attempt a groundbreaking 350km standup paddleboard expedition from Stockholm, Sweden to Turku, Finland. The journey is estimated to take 7-10 days depending on wind and weather conditions, with Valtteri paddling around 50km per day. With little prior experience of traveling over water, Heinilä's journey is an exploration of the captivating Nordic archipelago and a testament to the accessible nature of coastal exploration.

Driven by his passion for adventure, Heinilä seeks to raise awareness about the Baltic Sea's fragility and the urgent need for its protection. Partnering with organizations like John Nurminen Foundation and Minun Mereni, he aims to highlight the sea's immense opportunities while addressing the environmental threats it faces.
