More than 2,000 ships cross the Baltic Sea every day, making it one of the busiest seas in the world – and one of the most vulnerable.

Shipping is essential to our trade and supply chains, but it also puts pressure on an already fragile marine environment. Much of the knowledge – and many of the solutions – needed to reduce this impact already exist. The next step is turning them into action.
